Job Title: Environmental Remediation SpecialistDescription:We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Environmental Remediation Specialist. The successful candidate will have experience in environmental science or engineering, contaminated hydrogeology, or civil/environmental engineering.Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of consultants to deliver quality contaminated land services to clients;
  • Analyse and interpret complex situations/problems and develop appropriate solutions;
  • Manage projects from start to finish, including tenders/proposals preparation, fieldwork programs, data analysis and interpretation, and reporting;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve excellent outcomes for clients.
Requirements:
  • Professional qualification in environmental science or engineering or other relevant degree;
  • 1-4 years professional experience in consulting or similar industry role;
  • Experience in environmental/contamination management (soil and groundwater)/remediation (soil and groundwater), soil science;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Extensive field experience undertaking contaminated sites investigations, remediation supervision and monitoring;
  • Proven report writing skills and high computer literacy including data management and manipulation;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation and the ability to work effectively within a team environment;
  • Excellent driving history and hold a current unrestricted driver's license;
  • Australia Citizenship or rights to work in Australia.
