Debt Resolution Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled Debt Resolution Specialist to join our team. This role would be suited to someone who is passionate about resolving debt issues and working in a fast-paced environment.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Working closely with our Credit, Sales and Operations teams to provide support throughout the debt resolution process.
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation has been collected and meets the requirements specified by our credit policy.
  • Preparing instructions for variations, discharges and collections/enforcement actions to be issued to relevant parties.
  • Maintaining accurate records of progress throughout the existing debt pipeline.
  • Checking and recording the sale status of security properties.
  • Liaising with our Credit and Sales teams to ensure debts are resolved within agreed service levels.
  • Supporting portfolio monitoring for customer milestones, conducting thorough portfolio reviews to ensure continual progress and timely resolutions throughout the journey.
  • Managing tasks related to debt resolution, including collections, arrears management and statement preparation.

Requirements for this role include:

  • At least 12 months' experience in a debt resolution or collections role.
  • A good understanding of the debt resolution process from initiation to settlement.
  • Tenacious attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • A track record of delivering results in a high-pressure environment.
  • Passion to learn and develop, drive to get stuck in and own your area of the business.
  • Strong organisational skills - you will be managing multiple files, requests and identifying process improvements.
  • A friendly, energetic, authentic and helpful approach to your work.
