The Carriage House restaurant is located within The Clayfield Retirement Village. As a key member of the team, you will lead kitchen operations by providing exceptional catering & hospitality services that exceed customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all back-of-house kitchen operations - preparing meals during service times, guiding your team and creating innovative ideas
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to develop menu ideas for events and function events
  • Monitor daily Food Safety checklists and ensure adherence to health and safety policies
  • Complete stock management of all goods including ordering, rotation and amendments
  • Address day-to-day operational issues including schedules, cleaning lists and performance concerns
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Chef in an à la carte dining setting or hotel restaurant setting (highly desired)
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (required)
  • Qualified Food Safety Supervisor (desirable)
  • Kitchen management experience (ordering stock, rostering or admin experience)
  • Minimum two COVID-19 vaccinations (required)
