Casual Warehouse Sorter

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Warehouse Sorter to join our team at Action Workforce. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient sorting and loading of packages into and out of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort and load packages into and out of the warehouse with accuracy and efficiency
  • Pack and dispatch local and interstate parcels in a timely manner
  • Lodge and pick up freight from airlines, ensuring seamless transportation
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and knowledge of geographical locations in Australia/Postal Codes
  • Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with WH&S, Emergency, and Security procedures
  • Perform additional tasks as specified by the Supervisor
Requirements:
  • Logistics/Freight Forwarding warehouse experience (preferred)
  • Cargo-wise knowledge advantageous
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
  • Computer literate and proficient in using warehouse management systems
  • Forklift license essential
  • Ability to lift 20 kilograms
