Job Title: Cyber Governance Lead

Job Description:

  • The role involves leading a team responsible for ensuring cyber compliance across projects and solution implementation teams.
  • This includes providing governance, risk, and compliance advice to the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and other internal stakeholders.

About the Role:

The Assistant Director Cyber Engagement is responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of information and systems in OCIO and allied services. Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with key stakeholders to address cyber risks in solution concept and design stages.
  • Evaluating business and IT risks during project initiation and solution design phases.
  • Providing cyber GRC related advice at technical forums.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in cyber governance, risk & compliance or a related field of cyber security.
  • Knowledge of key Australian Government compliance frameworks including the ACSC ISM and PSPF.
