We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician for a fixed-term part-time contract.
Work Schedule:
Monday and Tuesday: Afternoon Shift (2:30pm – 10:30pm)
Thursday and Friday: Day Shift (6:30am – 2:30pm)
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our Quality agenda by ensuring that all analytical and testing equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for each production shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhancing and upholding quality and food safety systems
- Conducting analytical testing, as well as calibration and maintenance of analytical instruments
- Leading site-wide quality initiatives
- Resolving quality-related challenges
Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Science (Chemistry) or Food Science, or a related field (preferred)
- Relevant laboratory experience in a manufacturing setting (essential)
- Strong technical skills in instrumentation and/or chemistry
- High level of mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team
Additional Information:
This position is located in Tingalpa. The selection process includes a formal interview, online assessment, background checks, and a pre-employment medical examination.
