Biostatistician Position

We are seeking a senior biostatistician to lead the design and analysis of clinical trials. This role will involve managing multiple simultaneous clinical trials and overseeing all aspects of study design, statistical analysis, and data management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage study protocols for multiple clinical trials.
  • Develop data management consulting services, perform statistical analysis, create data visualizations with graphs and tables, and write results in a publication-ready format.
  • Present findings in a clear and concise manner using presentation software.
  • Author or review Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) aligned with study protocols.
  • Conduct meta-analyses to inform trial design.
  • Perform interim analyses as needed.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience leading projects in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Expertise in at least one programming language: SAS or R.
  • Experience working on Phase 1 drug studies or medical device and diagnostic clinical trials is highly valued.
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced biostatistical methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Bayesian techniques such as Bayesian meta-analysis, Bayesian Adaptive designs, and inherent interim analyses is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with relevant clinical research regulatory guidance and standards (e.g., ICH and EMA).

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills across various platforms: email, phone, and video conferencing.
  • Experience with modeling and simulation and Bayesian statistical techniques is an asset.
