Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team. As a technical consultant, you will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions and providing exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Design & Development
    • You will approach solution design and system architecture with a holistic mindset, ensuring seamless integration across various platforms and technologies.
    • You will work on projects that may involve Ruby on Rails, HTML, JavaScript, Vue, and API integrations.
    • You will translate project requirements into clearly defined user stories and deliverables, meeting objectives on time.
    • You will conduct thorough testing to maintain quality standards and prepare technical documentation such as release notes and user guides.
  • Consulting & Customer Engagement
    • You will meet with clients to gather requirements and document functional/technical needs.
    • You will work alongside stakeholders to translate business challenges into solutions that provide measurable value.
    • You will provide end-user training and support solution design sessions and pre-sales activities.
  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
    • You will engage with team members in stand-ups, planning sessions, and reviews to maintain alignment with company objectives.
    • You will participate in peer reviews to uphold code quality and validate overall solution effectiveness.
    • You will contribute to the ongoing refinement of team processes and methods.
    • You will maintain accurate time and billing records, ensuring project tasks are completed profitably.
    Requirements
    • A degree or diploma in Digital, Software Development, or a related field is required.
    • Demonstrated experience delivering application projects is necessary.
    • At least 3 years' experience as part of a development team is preferred.
    Desirable Skills
    • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, HTML, and JavaScript is essential.
    • Experience with the Vue framework is desirable.
    • Familiarity with Content Management Systems, integrated eCommerce platforms, and API-based integrations is advantageous.
    About You

You will be customer-focused and skilled in hands-on development. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document and present solution designs.
