Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Sales Associate. This position involves working in a fast-paced retail environment, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring seamless sales transactions.

- Operate cash register systems with accuracy and efficiency">
- Scan items for sale and ensure accurate recording of transactions">
- Process payments from customers using various payment methods">
- Calculate daily/shift sales totals and reconcile with overall sales figures">
- Restock shelves and maintain a clean and organized workspace">
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns">
- Wrap or place merchandise in bags for customers">
- Weigh produce and bulk foods as required">
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent education
- No prior work experience is necessary, but 1-6 months of experience in a related field is preferred
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to accurately process transactions and manage cash handling responsibilities
