We are seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Vehicle Delivery Specialist to join our team in Cairns. As an essential member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting manufactured windows and doors products to our growing customer base across the Far North Qld region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain all company vehicles in a clean and well-maintained condition.
• Ensure all items on the back of trucks and trailers are secure before travel.
• Practice good hygiene and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Complete all paperwork and check sheets as required and on time.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment at our branch.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safe work practices and adhere to state and federal regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including driver diaries and supporting documentation.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery instructions and requirements.

To succeed in this critical role, you will need to possess excellent manual handling skills and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have:

• A current manual driver's license with a clean driving record.
• A construction white card.
• Prior experience as a heavy vehicle driver.
• A commitment to workplace health and safety practices, including safe manual handling and lifting heavy loads.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of reliability.
