Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our expanding long-term program of works in the Victorian Utilities sector.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to advance your career, working alongside seasoned industry professionals on varied and impactful projects.

You will oversee the full project lifecycle for medium-risk/complexity infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery from pre-contracts through to handover in line with company frameworks and client agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysing costs, forecasting expenditures, coordinating subcontractor performance, and utilising programming software to monitor progress and address issues proactively.
  • Optimising project outcomes by identifying and managing risks and opportunities, negotiating with suppliers, and driving continuous improvements across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Preparing business cases and project schedules, managing change and compensation events, tracking key performance indicators, and providing timely, accurate reporting throughout the project.
Requirements:

Degree level qualification in Engineering or equivalent is required, along with minimum 5 years' project management experience in Construction or Water industry projects with a proven record delivering safe, on-time, and on-budget outcomes.

You'll have demonstrated capability in managing the engineering and design facets of complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects across varied asset classes, as well as strong understanding of commercial arrangements, procurement, financial management, design, and contracts management.
