Software Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to learning, teaching, and research systems.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and provide user-focused advice. They will also have a high level of digital literacy, including experience with Microsoft Excel and navigating complex information systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to learning, teaching, and research systems
  • Provide user-focused advice and support to clients
  • Analyse and solve problems using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled undergraduate or postgraduate student at QUT studying in a related field
  • Meet a GPA of at least 4
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of digital literacy, including experience with Microsoft Excel and navigating complex information systems
