Expert Perioperative Care Specialist

The modern 109-bed facility provides a wide range of health services, including orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology, general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography, and obstetrics.
We are seeking experienced Perioperative Registered Nurses and Scrub Scouts to join our team with flexible rostering. You will play a key role within a collaborative team to ensure high levels of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care
- Supervise, direct, and guide nursing team members to deliver patient care
- Provide education and support to patients for recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs
- Lead quality improvement and safety projects to achieve outcomes
- Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Model Safe Practice
- Have 3 years of RN experience in Scrub Scout/Perioperative Nursing with expertise in Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Urology, or OR ENT surgery
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Authority to Work in Australia
- Working with Children Check
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- Current Registration (no restrictions) with AHPRA
- Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated, able to work as part of a high-functioning team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Postgraduate Certificate or working towards in Perioperative Nursing
