Family Support Role

This position involves providing care and support for an 8 month old baby, as well as engaging in activities to promote the child's development.

We are seeking a candidate with experience in caring for babies of a similar age. Ideally, this would be someone with 2+ years of experience in childcare and who holds relevant qualifications such as a Working With Children Check, First Aid and CPR certification, and is fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

About the Family

The family is close-knit and includes grandparents who assist with childcare on occasion. The household has two children, an 8 month old and a 3 year old, both of whom will be attending childcare while the nanny works. Parents work from home at times but have a dedicated workspace that allows them to separate from the nanny and children when required.

Key Responsibilities

This role requires a capable and supportive nanny who can provide quality care and engage in stimulating activities with the 8 month old baby. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a safe and nurturing environment for the baby.
  • Planning and implementing activities to promote the child's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Caring for the baby's daily needs, including feeding, bathing, and sleeping routines.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in caring for babies of a similar age.
  • A Working With Children Check, First Aid and CPR certification, and full vaccination against Covid-19.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
