Programmed Skilled Workforce is seeking highly motivated and committed candidates to commence a career in the coal mining industry. Working with our client Whitehaven Coal, successful candidates will carry out their traineeship at the Maules Creek mine site.

About the Role:

Kick-start your career in the mining industry by completing a Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations as a trainee Dump Truck Operator. This role involves working a 7-day rotating roster, consisting of day and night shifts, with bus transport to and from the mine site.

Requirements:
  • Absolute commitment to participating in training and the term of the traineeship
  • High regard for safety and adherence to safe working practices
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude
  • Current P2 drivers' license
  • Local residential address
  • Two to three work-related referees in a supervisory role
  • Pass a pre-employment NSW Order 43 medical and drug & alcohol test
