**Job Description**

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Manning Hospital. This permanent full-time position is part of our Safe Staffing Levels rollout to improve nurse-to-patient ratios.

  • Provide high-quality patient care as an Enrolled Nurse in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting.
  • Safely manage workload and provide effective support to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Collaborate with senior staff, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Nurse Educators, and Registered Nurses to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of emergency nursing practices, including medication management and trauma care.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed preferred).
  • Experience in acute care or emergency settings.
  • Patient-centred care, teamwork, effective communication, and a willingness to learn and contribute to quality improvement.
