As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to the delivery of a broad range of planned quality activities designed to provide assurance to management that quality practices are being effectively deployed across the project and line of business.
Key responsibilities include:
* Interpreting and providing advice within the management and quality assurance function based on legislation, policy and procedures.
* Maintaining a well-developed understanding of and compliance to relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence's mission and policy requirements.
* Supporting understanding and awareness of quality tools and techniques across the business area.
* Regular liaison with the Customer and Partner Company Quality representatives to provide required assurance.
* Supporting the monitoring and completion of corrective, preventive and/or improvement actions by the business area.
* Coordinating the completion of Preliminary Material Review (PMR) and Material Review Board (MRB) ensuring all records are retained.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance. You will also need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and demonstrated experience in a Quality Technician role.
