**Job Title:** Garage Door Installer and Servicer

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team as a garage door installer and servicer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and servicing high-quality garage doors and openers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Install roller doors, sectional doors, tilt doors, and automatic door openers.
  • Service and repair garage doors and openers.
  • Perform basic steelwork fabrication and welding.
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
  • Maintain compliance with OH&S and other safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service, representing the company's values and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • A strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to excellence.
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience in installing and repairing garage doors and openers is preferred but not essential (training provided).
  • ACT manual driver's license.
  • Construction induction white card.
  • Asbestos awareness card.
  • Silica awareness card.
  • Ability to lift and handle items weighing 20-35 kilograms.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Trade certificate in construction, metal, or mechanical industries.
  • Previous experience in a related industry such as building and construction.

Work Environment:

We offer a supportive work environment with structured working hours promoting work/life balance. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:36pm. Overtime/On-Call Afterhours/Saturday work 1 week per month (12 per year) minimum.
