Job Title: Support Assistant - Numeracy Program

Job Description:

Norwood Secondary College is seeking a Support Assistant to join our team in the Numeracy Program. As a Support Assistant, you will provide support to students in the Quicksmart Program, focusing on numeracy.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with teachers and students. They will also have basic computer skills and be able to prepare resources and equipment as required.

The position involves assisting students with their timetable preparation, numeracy testing, and other tasks related to the Numeracy Program. You will also participate in team meetings and contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of student programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate effectively with members of the school community
  • Capacity to provide support and/or attendant care to students where necessary
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer skills and office systems
  • Capacity to work cooperatively with a range of people, including teachers, education support staff, students, and parents

Others:
