Housekeeping Specialist

Our team is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our operations. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of laundry for room attendants to stock guest rooms.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You should also possess strong communication skills and be able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare linen by removing foreign objects prior to washing
• Wash and dry laundry using correct formula for each wash load
• Fold items according to brand standards or as directed by management
• Ensure finished laundry has no wrinkles, tears, or stains, and remove unacceptable product to a specified location
• Maintain laundry area in a clean and orderly manner, including checking and cleaning lint traps daily on all equipment
• Store cleaned towels, sheets, and linens properly
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours per day)
• Ability to grasp, bend, and stoop; push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 30 lbs
• High school education not required; related experience or training equivalent to one month or more preferred
