Role Description

Our team is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to play a critical role in managing and enhancing our production systems. This individual will work across the full technology stack, focusing on infrastructure, automation, security, and CI/CD pipelines.

The successful candidate will have experience with fast-paced, agile Australian tech environments, including strong expertise with AWS and hands-on experience managing Kubernetes and Docker in production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain stable, secure, and high-performance production environments
  • Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on security and scalability
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GoCD
  • Automate infrastructure and deployments using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes
  • Implement and manage monitoring and alerting solutions such as Icinga and ELK stack
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience in fast-paced, agile Australian tech environments
  • Strong expertise with AWS, including networking and VPC configurations
  • Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes and Docker in production
  • Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, SaltStack, and Terraform
  • Skilled in Python and Bash scripting
  • Familiarity with ELK stack, Kafka, Apache Spark, and MongoDB is a plus
