The Sebel Brisbane is a prime location in the heart of the city, close to Queen Street Mall and local transport options. It offers spacious studios, one and two-bedroom self-contained apartments, a town kitchen and bar for all-day dining, and three meeting and event spaces that can accommodate up to 150 guests. Brisbane has a lively atmosphere, with a vibrant live music scene, world-class dining, laid-back cafes, art galleries, and cosmopolitan shopping.

Purpose

As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of creating various dining experiences that showcase exceptional taste and service. Your primary goal is to guide a unified team in guaranteeing flawless food and beverage operations while maintaining high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Taking charge during busy service hours at the front of the house, setting the pace and leading by example.
  • Collaborating with your team to spark motivation and attain exceptional results together.
  • Contributing to creating schedules, nurturing team growth, and harmonizing departmental efforts.
  • Crafting a welcoming and friendly atmosphere where every moment becomes a memory and every experience turns into a story.
  • Transforming obstacles into opportunities when challenges arise.
  • Guiding your team in achieving service excellence while actively seeking out information to enhance your product knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Demonstrated genuine passion and enthusiasm for hospitality and the food sector.

- Prior history of guiding and empowering teams with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

- Familiarity and expertise across diverse food & beverage settings, with flexibility to work across different schedules including weekends and public holidays as required.

- Possession of a valid RSA or an equivalent qualification for the specific Country/State/Territory.
