Senior MIS Security Consultant

To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge security strategies that ensure the secure and efficient delivery of key business functions within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Leadership: Apply your expertise in security best practices to maintain operational effectiveness and enhance our mainframe provisioning practices.
- Strategic Design & Implementation: Collaborate with Mainframe Identity Service Security Architects to design and implement security solutions that meet evolving business needs.
- Change Management: Lead change management efforts, including requirements validation, design decisions, testing, and quality management.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify, report, and implement risk remediation tasks.
- Technical Expertise: Leverage your deep technical knowledge to define and implement solutions that support business goals.
Requirements:
- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in JCL coding, SAS programming, ISPF Dialogue Management, SDSF, and RACF security.
- Experience: 10+ years in a Security Analyst role, with a strong focus on mainframe environments.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to provide strategic input to technology solutions, with a focus on efficiency, systems integration, and cost reduction.
- Educational Background: Tertiary qualification in a Technology discipline or related field is required.
- Residency: You must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen.
