This role requires a passionate senior Food and Beverage professional with fine dining experience. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and the ability to retain high standards in a busy and demanding position.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and maintain a clean and welcoming restaurant environment for guests.
- Assist with rostering requirements and shift coverage to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide staff training and guidance to new team members and assist with current staff development plans.
- Supervise and manage staff on shift to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare and serve barista standard coffee and beverages, including cocktails and wine presentation.
- Facilitate room service, taking orders and delivering food to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of front-of-house areas and adhere to RSA government legislation requirements.
- Oversee and manage daily open and closing procedures to ensure smooth operations.
This position will require flexibility and availability for split shifts across a 7-day rotating roster, with seasonal peaks during summer, public holiday, and school holiday periods.
Requirements:- Certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) is essential.
- A good knowledge of wine or exposure to presenting wine in a restaurant setting is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to provide guidance and mentoring to staff is crucial.
