Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at WT Partnership. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for performing various quantity surveying functions, including estimating, planning, and cost management, cost monitoring, and accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients, architects, and main contractors to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Identify and facilitate new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
- Develop and implement cost-effective solutions to maximize value for our clients.
- Conduct cost checking of developing designs to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Value engineering to optimize project costs and improve efficiency.
- Tender evaluations and analysis to ensure best value for our clients.
- Contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Cash flow projects to ensure timely payment and minimize financial risks.
- Procurement to source materials and services at competitive prices.
- Cost reporting to provide accurate and timely financial information.
- Evaluation of variations to ensure fair and reasonable adjustments.
- Valuations to determine project costs and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Final account reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial closure.
- Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation, and settlement to ensure fair and reasonable outcomes.
- Investment analysis to inform business decisions and drive growth.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction.
- Experience in cost estimating and planning software, including Cost X.
