Teacher, Education Specialist

This is an opportunity to teach and train students in a variety of subjects, including vocational education and training. As a teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering quality learning and teaching programs that meet the needs of students.
The ideal candidate will have relevant industry experience and skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to possess sound knowledge of safe, equitable and anti-discriminatory work practices.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver quality learning and teaching programs
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment tools
- Provide feedback and guidance to students
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance the quality of training and assessment provided to students
Additional responsibilities may include participating in team meetings, industry reference groups, student events and forums, inviting feedback and engaging in reflection.
RequirementsThe successful applicant will need to hold one of the following qualifications:
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
- TAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or
- TAE50211 Diploma of Training Design and Development;
Post graduate TESOL qualification in adult education is highly desirable. A high level of digital literacy skills across various platforms (online Learning Management Systems) is also preferred.
