Payroll Coordinator

About This Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to step into a dynamic role supporting a diverse workforce. You will be part of a collaborative finance team, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while contributing to process improvements and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process a monthly payroll of approx. 400 employees
  • Evaluate and resolve any payroll related queries coming from staff
  • Manage payroll data, reconciling and clearing month end figures
  • Calculate annual leave and sick leave provision
  • Support payroll reporting, including year-end activities

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience processing Australian payroll from end to end
  • Experience working on projects within the payroll function
  • Intermediate excel knowledge
  • Strong understanding of different EBAs and Awards
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
