Key Responsibilities- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and meal preparation, to support clients in maintaining their independence
- Assist with intimate personal care, ensuring the dignity and comfort of our clients
- Offer social support, engaging with clients and promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing
- Implement health and wellbeing initiatives, working collaboratively with clients and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes
- Minimum Certificate III Individual Support (or equivalent) is essential
- Understanding of and a passion for working with the elderly
- Ability to work and travel around the Hervey Bay area (with travel up to an hour as required)
- Current driver's license and registered, reliable, and comprehensively insured motor vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain
- Confidence in using different forms of technology, such as a smartphone or tablet
