We are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual to provide administrative support to the Head of Junior School.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the electronic diary of the Head of Junior School, undertaking general administration tasks, and providing exceptional communication skills on behalf of the Head of Junior School.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience in working with staff, parents, and students, and a strong passion for Biblically-based Christian education.

You will have the ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate flexibility with hours to support co-curricular activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance of the Head of Junior School's electronic diary
  • General administration tasks including rosters, calendars, document collection, letters, event registration, Google Docs
  • Communication on behalf of the Head of Junior School, including incoming telephone calls, communication with parents, administration staff, teachers, external agencies
  • Document and resource preparation, including correspondence, photocopying, filing, typing
  • Secretarial support, including attending meetings, taking minutes, and following up actions as necessary
  • Event preparation - assisting with coordination of events and activities related to the relevant sub-school, including correspondence, programs, bookings, location preparation, catering oversight, information to staff, etc.
  • Supporting the College Marketing Team by creating professional documents and displays that align with College branding
  • Undertaking other reasonable duties as directed by the Head of Junior School
