Data Migration Project Lead

The Victorian government seeks an experienced Senior Data Migration Project Manager to lead and deliver end-to-end data migration initiatives across critical business systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the full lifecycle of data migration projects from planning through execution to post-implementation support.
- Deliver assigned projects successfully, ensuring definition, documentation, and satisfactory delivery of agreed objectives and outcomes.
- Collaborate with Data Architects, Business Analysts, SMEs, and Technical Teams to define migration strategies, data mapping, and validation frameworks.
- Manage key internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of the project.
- Define and manage data quality assurance and reconciliation activities post-migration.
- 8+ years' experience in large, complex data migration projects.
- Strong technical background within the data space, with the ability to address accessibility and compatibility issues.
- Excellent understanding of data migration methodologies, ETL processes, and data quality management.
- Exceptional facilitation and coordination skills.
- Vendor management and engagement skills.
- Proven confidence in verbal communication, with the ability to deal with diverse stakeholders.
