Senior Matron

We are a dynamic and compassionate healthcare provider, seeking an experienced Registered Midwife to join our Maternity team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide exceptional services during the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal episodes in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

As a Senior Matron - Perinatal Services, you will work closely with Obstetricians and Paediatricians to ensure an exceptional level of care to mothers and babies.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Current Registration with APHRA as a Registered Midwife
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Maternity
• Degree in Nursing and Health Management or equivalent
• Demonstrated high level of competence with a proven ability to operate confidently in Delivery Suite, Antenatal, Special Care and Postnatal Units
• Demonstrated collaborative and well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient centred care
• Proficient computer skills and experience with computerised reporting systems
• Well-developed time management skills with a high degree of initiative
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of continuous quality improvement
• Commitment to professional development and to a structured learning program for all staff
• Immunisation Evidence (including full Covid vaccination and seasonal Influenza)
