About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced psychologist to join our team as the Clinical Lead Principal Psychologist.

The successful candidate will be passionate about neurological rehabilitation and committed to delivering evidence-based practice, with a focus on leading and developing their team.

As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to help our clients achieve their goals and regain their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver psychology clinical services to clients that reflect evidence-based practice and excellent client outcomes.
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the psychology team.
  • Work effectively within an interdisciplinary team, demonstrating effective teamwork and professionalism, and exceptional communication skills.
  • Develop discipline-specific services, procedures, and clinical guidelines that demonstrate efficiency, creativity, and innovation.
  • Provide evidence-based psychology services to clients.
  • Participate in continuing education activities.
  • Contribute to team projects and business development.
About You

You will have advanced knowledge of best practice in managing clients with acquired brain injury, stroke, and/or neurological conditions.

Proven clinical leadership skills with expertise in client-centred practice.

A proven ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice through utilising evidence-based research.

Board registration for psychology supervision is desirable.

You will have a friendly, results-focused disposition and be able to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary allied health team.

You will display genuine empathy, compassion, patience, and an interest in your clients' needs.

You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task.

You will be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team.

You will be resourceful and able to find answers to complex questions.

You will have a positive, can-do attitude and a great sense of humour.

You will bring energy to the room and love to have fun at work.

You will have a Bachelor of Psychology (or equivalent).

You will have a current National Police Check.

You will have a current Working with Children Check.

You will have AHPRA Registration.

You will have Professional Indemnity Insurance.

You will have a current and unrestricted Driver's License.
