About the Role

As a Senior Manager - Debt Collection Agencies, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and optimizing debt collection processes for Transurban. You will be responsible for managing national Debt Collection Agencies (DCAs) partnerships, overseeing Transurban's debt collection processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

This is a leadership role that requires exceptional operational discipline, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in DCA performance. You will be responsible for daily oversight of DCA operations to optimize revenue recovery and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase revenue and reduce costs
  • Improve collection strategies by identifying trends and patterns, and providing inputs for training, development, and process enhancements
  • Manage debt collection and legal budgets, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Establish and regularly review team priorities, performance objectives, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members
Requirements
  • Collections operations leadership experience gained in banking and financial services environment
  • Subject matter expertise relating to collection practices and regulatory obligations
  • Background in driving productivity and service improvement through hands-on operations leadership
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Well-developed critical thinking skills and ability to develop innovative solutions
