We're seeking a skilled Production Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Somerton, Victoria. As a key member of our production team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement action plans to drive continuous improvement and efficiency in our systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant OHS&E legislation and regulations.
- Support and work with managers, colleagues, and staff to implement and deliver on initiatives.
- Maintain processes that ensure product quality meets customer expectations.
- Develop and improve systems and audits to ensure the highest standard of housekeeping and safety.
- Conduct compliance audits and rectify issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor outgoing material to ensure quality compliance.
Requirements
- Trade-qualified with experience in a maintenance environment.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to train and train others.
- Forklift license desirable.
