The successful candidate will ensure a secure environment for swimmers at the YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit's Boll Family facility. This includes adhering to safety protocols, responding to emergencies, and collaborating with colleagues to promote a culture of safety and well-being.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain vigilant surveillance of the pool area, adhering to established standards
- Address emergency situations effectively, following YMCA and American Red Cross guidelines
- Execute routine equipment and chemical checks, documenting results properly
- Attend essential staff meetings, training sessions, and in-service programs
- Carry out additional tasks as designated by the Supervisor
