Family Day Care Educator Opportunity

As a Family Day Care Educator with Windermere Child and Family Services, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality education and care in a family-focused setting. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and care, and who are committed to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for children.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality education and care to children in your own home, with a maximum of up to seven children at any time.
- Design and deliver programs that promote learning, creativity, and socialization in children.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a sense of community and belonging.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and legislation, and ensure compliance with all requirements.
- Manage payments from families, and ensure timely payment to educators.
- Provide access to support and training as needed, to ensure the success of your Family Day Care business.
- Minimum qualification of Certificate III in Children Services.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification.
- Previous experience working with children from birth to 12 years.
- Willingness to promote and support practices that are inclusive, culturally responsive, safe, and accessible.
- Current Victorian Driver Licence.
- Over 18 years.
- Willingness to undertake relevant pre-employment screening and checks.
- Right to Work in Australia (e.g. Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Visa holder with full working rights).
