Job Title: Beverage Service Expert

The Brisbane Marriott Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Beverage Service Expert. Located in the heart of the CBD, next to the Brisbane River and the iconic Story Bridge, this role offers a unique opportunity to deliver exceptional service and create memorable experiences for guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Host Guests with Excellence:
  • Provide guests with extensive knowledge on menus offered along with promotions.
  • Use upselling skills to promote menu items.
  • Anticipate guest needs and handle inquiries in a helpful and attentive manner.
  • Develop close working relationships with all departments within the hotel.
  • Handle guest queries throughout their stay.
  • Assist Front Office and kitchen when required.
  • Perform other section duties and responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience:
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to create personal connections with guests.
  • Passion for food and beverage, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to think quickly and solve problems promptly.
  • Flexibility with working shifts, weekends, and learning new skills.
  • Holding an up-to-date RSA certificate.
