Qube Bulk, a leading provider of mine to market and mine resupply solutions, is seeking an experienced Mining Trainer & Assessor for its Gladstone operation, flying in from Brisbane.
This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary package and long-term job security.
Salary PackageWe offer a highly competitive salary package, commensurate with industry standards, reflecting the expertise and qualifications required for this role. Based on national averages for similar positions, we estimate a total remuneration package of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of training and assessment methodologies, with the ability to design and deliver engaging training programs for diverse groups of learners. They will also possess strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for MC Drivers and Machine Operators, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Verify Competency Assessments and maintain accurate records, guaranteeing adherence to Qube's quality management system.
- Facilitate classroom-based Safety Training and Inductions, utilizing adult learning principles to enhance knowledge retention.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve business objectives, demonstrating initiative and sound judgment when faced with challenges.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated expertise in various mobile plant and equipment Permit to Work systems, Isolations, and Tagging.
- Familiarity with facilitating inductions for mining operations and compliance with Standard 11 and CBM regulations.
- Proven track record of delivering relevant and engaging training to diverse student groups, showcasing exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
