Warehouse Laborer

Fuse Recruitment is seeking skilled Warehouse Laborers and Packers for immediate starts in a dynamic Blacktown location. This ongoing day shift position offers a competitive hourly rate of $33 p/hr, with opportunities for overtime.

We are looking for individuals who can assist in various facets of warehousing operations, including picking and packing orders, palletizing stock, and strapping products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer orders while maintaining a safe working environment.

• Picking and packing furniture products to meet customer demands
• Palletizing stock and consolidating goods for efficient storage and transportation
• Strapping products and shrink wrapping pallets to prevent damage during transit
• Loading and unloading trucks/containers by hand, handling up to 20 kgs (2 person lifts)
• General warehouse duties, including cleaning up wrapping rubbish and discarding product boxes

• Assembling kit set furniture, such as tables, chairs, and outdoor flat pack furniture
• Utilizing hand and power tools, following plans and reading instructions for correct assembly

• Prior experience in picking/packing furniture products and palletizing stock
• Excellent attention to detail, with ability to work accurately under pressure
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment, with knowledge of WHS procedures
• Heavy lifting up to 20 kgs, manual handling, and physical stamina required

• Furniture Assembly or Trades Assistant background, with proficiency in hand and power tools
• Experience following and reading plans for assembling products
• LF Forklift license, which may lead to increased hourly pay
