Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team in the Health Promotion Systems group.

This role reports directly to the Manager, Food Systems and has a close working relationship with the broader Health Promotion Systems Group.

The successful candidate will contribute to designing approaches and activities to influence systems-based change and achieve organizational objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the development of strategies and initiatives to drive system change
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to activate opportunities for system change
  • Supporting accountability approaches to demonstrate achievement of organizational outcomes and objectives

About You

We are looking for someone who can design, implement and manage projects; confidently convey ideas and information both written and verbally; work collaboratively with others to find solutions to problems; and observe fine details & identify gaps in information.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualification at Advanced Diploma level and/or strong demonstrable experience working as a project officer
  • Experience working within the public health, health promotion, food systems, community or government sectors
  • An understanding of how Food Systems impact health and wellbeing
