Early Intervention and Inclusion Specialist

This role is an exceptional opportunity to have a profound impact on the lives of young children and their families.

About the Position:
  • You will support the inclusion, learning, and development of children from birth–6 years with additional needs.
  • You will collaborate closely with educators to implement inclusive practices, develop Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), work with external professionals, and build educator capability through coaching and modelling.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement tailored strategies to foster inclusive practices and create Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) for children with additional needs.
  2. Cultivate partnerships with external specialists, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive support for children.
  3. Enhance educator capacity by delivering coaching and modelling effective teaching methods.
  4. Support the team in embedding deeply connected principles of quality teaching, equity, social inclusion, and evidence-informed early intervention.
  5. Provide expertise and leadership to embed adaptive, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches that honour each child's communication style, sensory profile, learning preferences, and developmental pathway.

Degree Requirements: Bachelor of Education or related field
