About the Role

The City of Whittlesea is seeking a skilled Delivery Lead to manage the triage and delivery of delegated digital initiatives from the council's overarching digital pipeline. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with stakeholders, internal and external delivery teams, and customers to determine the scope, timeline, and prioritization of BAU tasks and new initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of digital initiatives using a combination of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine the scope, timeline, and prioritization of projects
  • Act as a conduit between the business and delivery teams to ensure correct prioritization of work and expectations are set and achieved
  • Use tools such as Jira and MS Project to manage projects and ensure status of releases and project deliverables are understood and reported to stakeholders
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years experience in delivering initiatives using Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with associated tools and best practices to deliver on either methodology
  • Certifications such as Certified Product Owner, ITIL, Prince2, and Agile Scrum/Kanban
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills with people from all levels of the business
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities can change at short notice
