We are seeking caregivers to provide personal support services to our clients.

Our caregivers are directly responsible for assisting with activities of daily living such as personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, social support, and transportation. They must also identify and report any noticeable changes in the client's condition, while supporting their independence and personal development.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carry out all work according to guidelines, care plans, and directions from supervisors.
  • Support and assist in maintaining a clean, comfortable, safe, and secure environment.
  • Provide services to achieve maximum independence by meeting daily living and personal needs within care plans, considering a holistic approach and client preferences.
  • Report notable observations in client health and wellbeing to supervisors; direct client enquiries regarding support services to supervisors; complete documentation in accordance with legislation and policy.
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy of clients according to guidelines.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate relationships with clients and other key stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

Essential Qualifications

  • Australian Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent.
  • A registered and insured car and valid driver's licence.
  • A valid First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • A police check.
  • Vaccination for flu yearly and Covid-19 immunisation.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in community or aged care.

Work Location and Schedule

In person. Rotating roster.

Salary

From $24.43 per hour.

Application Requirements

Candidates must have a car with insurance and licence, be available Monday to Friday 7am - 6pm, and have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Home Care Support Worker.
