Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a certified gardening instructor to teach students of all levels about gardening skills, from theory to practice.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering sustainable gardening habits in our students and have strong knowledge of Australian flora, soil, and climate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons on gardening and horticulture
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with experts to develop curriculum content

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent (Essential)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Desirable)
  • 2 years of experience in gardening or horticulture
  • Strong knowledge of Australian flora, soil, and climate
  • A valid Working with Children Check (NSW)

Skills:
Passion for gardening and sustainability
Excellent communication and teaching skills
Knowledge of safe gardening practices and OHS standards
Ability to work collaboratively with others
