Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Classroom Teacher to join our team in the North West Region. As a key member of our educational community, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective teaching programs to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Monitor and assess student learning, using data to inform teaching practice and provide feedback to students and parents.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader school community to support student learning and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and priorities, and participate in professional learning activities to improve teaching practice.
Requirements
  • Current registration or eligibility for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  • Qualifications and experience in the curriculum area specified for the position.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to reflect on practice and engage in professional learning to continually improve teaching quality.
