Project Leader

We are seeking an experienced and diligent senior project leader to lead our high-performing team.
About the Role- Develop comprehensive project plans, define scope, timelines, and resource requirements
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure successful project outcomes
- Ensure seamless project execution through effective communication with designers, engineers, fabricators, and installers
- Manage project finances, expenses, and ongoing auditing
- Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and troubleshoot problems
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and conduct post-project reporting
- Implement quality control measures, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements
- BUILD and nurture relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors, manage stakeholder expectations, resolve conflicts, and foster positive working relationships
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Proven experience in a senior project management role
- High level of understanding of construction codes and regulations
- High level of OHSE understanding and adherence
- Proficient in understanding engineering, manufacturing, and installation processes
- Experience in supporting tender preparation and submission
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, team members, and suppliers
- Proficient in Aconex, Procore, and MS Office
- Attention to detail and strong focus on quality
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Budgeting and financial management skills
- Leadership and team management capabilities
- Able to work autonomously and in a team environment
Certifications required include a Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card) and the ability to work in Australia.
