Rehabilitation Consultant Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in helping individuals and organisations achieve their potential by delivering workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise your specialist knowledge and skills to assist people to return to meaningful engagement in occupations.
  • Evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness.
  • Help clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications and interests.
  • Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments.
  • Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate and monitor client progress toward their return to work goal.
  • Engage with key stakeholders and build strong relationships to facilitate business objectives.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Professional registration with relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application.
