Better Rehab is seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team, where you will have the opportunity to develop and strengthen your clinical expertise across the NDIS and community care settings.
The Role:
- Assess participants' behaviours and needs, designing behaviour support plans and advocating on their behalf.
- Provide ongoing support and intervention aligned to prescribed Behaviour Support Plans, including recommendations for plan amendments.
- Deliver individual therapy or training sessions with participants and their families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve better outcomes for participants.
- Develop and maintain relationships with providers and families to implement behaviour support plan strategies.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or Applied Behaviour Analysis.
- A willingness to learn and upskill in restrictive practices and the NDIS quality and safeguards commission framework.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
