Culinary Professional

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Culinary Professional to join our team at Bupa Aged Care in Wodonga. As a key member of our care home, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality meals that nourish the body and delight the senses.

You will be responsible for planning and preparing well-balanced and nutritious meals that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. Your passion for food and dedication to delivering exceptional service will ensure that every meal is a highlight of our residents' day.

• Plan and prepare delicious and nutritious meals for our residents
• Liaise with residents, families, and the care team to ensure residents' dietary, individual, and cultural needs are met
• Support the efficient functioning of kitchen and catering services
• Comply with all infection control and food safety procedures
• Perform administrative duties related to the kitchen operation such as stock taking and food quality assessment

• Previous experience in the preparation and delivery of meals within a similar environment
• Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent preferred but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to solve problems independently
