Service Manager - Electrical Industry

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to fill a senior leadership role in the electrical industry.

About the Role:

As a Local Area Representative, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing service contracts, adding revenue and value to the business by offering more services, upgrades and modifications to existing and potential clients in the Canberra/Southern NSW Region.

You will:

  • Assist Management in developing strategic growth initiatives
  • Regularly provide sales leads for the area and assist with securing any sales opportunities
  • Organise and ensure completion of all technical work sold in the area
  • Assist in the delivery of modifications, repairs and upgrades
  • Complete administrative functions including ordering of parts, reviewing technicians' timesheets (team of 4) and reports

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An ACT Electrical license
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience in people management/supervision desirable
  • Experience in building strong long-lasting relationships and the ability to support sales efforts
  • A current driver's license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to deal with and influence both internal and external customers
